Dingle Peninsula

"Dingle Peninsula with Blasket Islands, Kerry, Ireland"
photo montage of five digital slides, original image 50 x 10" high

The Dingle Peninsula is one of the western most points of Europe.  The Blasket Islands on the distant right is one of the last places that the Irish language was spoken.  The language was consciously stamped out by the British during the colonizing phase.  The islands are mostly visited by tourists and has been mostly abandoned by the indiginous population.
