Cathedral
in Havana, Cuba
"the Cathedral in Havana" ©2001
Elroy
Christenson
watercolor on paper about 9 x 12"
This cathedral in center of old Havana is open to the public although
it is no longer a working Catholic church. It's primarily a
tourist site to show that the Cuban government is tolorating the
religion. Almost all the religious fixtures have been removed. It
is still a glorious building from the outside.
