"The Fountain in City Hall Square of Copenhagen", ©1985 Elroy Christenson The
Rådhuspladsen, or City Hall
Square, of Copenhagen is a center of commerce,
transportation
and hotels. The fountain is titled "Dragon Leap Fountain" was
designed by Joachim Skovgaard in 1923. It depicts a Bull goring a
lind worm as a memorial to Hans Christian Andersen. The light
standards shown here have since be replace with more modern appliances.
